The latest diagnosis is a ruptured tendon, which thankfully is getting a little better, seemingly in precise correlation to my bank balance getting smaller! But it is still painful and I dont think I could even contemplate running at the moment.
I am having physio sessions twice a week, some ultrasound and also friction massage. I’ve also started road cycling again, one of the few sports I have been recommended, in an effort to slowly build some strength, and get some movement back into my legs.
The physio is hopeful I will be up and running again within four weeks. I just hope so.
