>Well the clocks have finally gone forwards and we can officially put winter to bed and concentrate on Summer.
It has been a pretty decent weekend up in the Lakes, in fact Sunday was glorious and outside of the northerly winds felt very pleasant indeed. Snow on the mountains down to 500 metres or so, especially on the central fells but this appeared to be retreating uphill yesterday.
It has been a pretty unenergetic 2 weeks, other than the odd cycle ride I took the decision to have some proper rest in an effort to spur on my knee tendon recovery. It has hopefully done the trick.
On Saturday evening I managed to complete my first full 4 mile run, without pain. That is a real milestone now that it is nearly a full 3 months since i injured my knee and was reduced from 20 mile mountain runs to nothing.
The main thing now is to not get too carried away. This week I am going to attempt a few more runs of the same distance to see whether my knee can cope with a little more exercise. That will bring us into April and from there I really, really hope i can start building up the distances once again. After all it is now only 11 weeks to go until the LAMM, more worringly only 3 weeks or so until the 3 Peaks Fell Race!
