On the roof of Torridonian Giants

Its New Years Eve. Today, as I sit and watch the incessent rain cascade down outside and the permanent mid-winter gloom overpowers the hidden and weak winter sun I thought I would post some pictures from a trip earlier in the Autumn to the North-West Highlands of Scotland.

Despite a week of Atlantic gales and squally showers, one glorious day emerged. It was early October and as it turned out, one of the last big runs of the year – over the Torridonian giant of Liathach.

Heres to a great year of mountain running in 2012!
